Three Seat Sofa by Stig Thoresen-Lassen
Denmark, c1930s
A three seat sofa designed by Stig Thoresen-Lassen and created by master cabinetmaker Louis G Thiersen. The base is made of mahogany and the body is covered in a beige wool. The sofa has a tight seat with tufting to the insides of the high arm rests and seat back.
Consistent with age and use, the upholstery is tired and there are some holes and tears. The seat springs are sound and the frame is solid. A great candidate for restoration.
